Anthony Byrne is the founder and Principal Solicitor of A R Byrne & Associates. After enjoying a successful career with the then-NSW Attorney-General's Department spanning several years, Anthony commenced working as a Solicitor at a number of private practices around Sydney, before launching A R Byrne & Associates in York Street in Sydney's CBD.
Completing a Bachelor of Arts (Humanities) and Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) at Western Sydney University, Anthony went on to complete his Legal Training with the College of Law, before successfully seeking admission as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Anthony is also admitted as a Solicitor in the High Court of Australia, and is admitted on the Roll of Practitioners in the High Court of New Zealand as a Barrister and Solicitor.
Anthony continues his postgraduate law studies, currently completing a Masters in Law (Applied Law) majoring in Wills and Estates Practice with the College of Law.
Anthony formerly sat on the Western Sydney University's Community Scholarship Selection Committee, representing both students and alumni in awarding 'Community Scholarships' to successful candidates every year. He is a current member of the Law Society of New South Wales, and is a member of the NSW Young Lawyers Criminal Law Committee.
Having briefed a number of Barristers and Experts, as well as appearing in matters across various jurisdictions such as the NSW Local, District and Supreme Courts, Commonwealth Courts, including the Family Court of Australia, Fair Work Commission and Industrial Relations Commission, Anthony has both the skills and experience to see matters through from start to finish, having built up his legal 'know-how' through building on the knowledge and skills acquired by spending over a decade working in law and justice, and by maintaining a positive relationship and rapport with industry professionals and colleagues.
Anthony places all of his clients' matters as a high priority, and works alongside his clients from start to finish. He is customer-focused, and community-minded, and does not settle for anything other than the BEST results for all of his clients.
